Sprint CEO makes WiMAX waves



Sprint CEO Dan Hesse earned Network World's Newsmaker of the Week title when he took the stage at CTIA in Las Vegas to lay out Sprint's plans to be the first U.S. provider of mobile broadband capabilities by creating a nationwide network based on WiMAX technology -- a risky move that could give the company a two-year advantage over competitors.
